OEM exhaust system weight

Was looking up some data and endend up compiling a list of the OEM exhaust system bits:

muffler                              27.6   
catalytic converter                  16.8   
exhaust manifold heat shield          2.4   
exhaust manifold w cats              16.2   
exhaust splash shield                 1.2
heat shield small                     0.2   
heat shield muffler (black)           1.2   
hardware                              3.4
total                                69 lbs.

Zero manifold is less than a third the weight at 8lbs. With the sports cat and lacking of other stuff I've probably shed. Reckon about 30lbs shed.

If I can replace the horribly heavy TTE with something else I'll be happy.

I am at 23 lbs for the whole system.

46 lbs shed  :o

Btw., I thought you hád shed the TTE twin pipe for a Malian sports?!
