Has anybody had any issues with Mad Motors?! I've ordered a ducktail spoiler from there over 6 weeks ago now. Been ringing every week for the last two to get an update but they keep fobbing me off and blaming another supplier.
Getting very frustrated!!

No idea about mad motors but I know suppliers for the construction industry are struggling for stock.
Also my local co op hasn't had my wifes favourite wine for a few weeks either.
Brexit
Covid
HGV drivers
Shipping containers

Take your pick on what's to blame.
First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

We were recently at the seaside and took a couple of boat trips to towns along the SW coast.
Two  container ships were parked up and the Skipper of our boat explained the situation thus:
Worldwide there are a lot of container ships, each carrying a lot of containers. In normal times this means that the loading and unloading is done to a strict timetable with bookings for 12 to 18 months ahead.
Because of the recent temporary blockage of the Suez Canal many container ships could not reach their destination at the arranged time.
There being little or no spare capacity at the container ports these out of schedule ships are in limbo with no place to go.

That seems feasible, It may or may not be correct, but if so would, in part, explain some of the delivery problems.

My Mad Motors spoiler came quite quickly so I can only think it's what Scotte said; the current climate leading to delays
...neutiquam erro.
