Cruise control ?

Did any MK3s come with cruise control ? I realize its not something you really want on a sports car but handy never the less when going through average speed camera areas

Wasn't ever an option from new but Monkey Wrench in the States made a retro fit unit now out of stock

also available   for roughly the same amount  heated seats

It was fitted standard on SMT in some markets ( mine coúld/should? have had it but doesn´t). This makes total sense because the SMT has an electrically operated throttle valve. The ECU is already programmed to govern it.
Never read anything on it being optional. Maybe papa bear can shed some light on it. Mind, I DO want it NOT on my car but it still is    to knów.
