Ceramic coating - turbo applications

There are probably two objectives here - hotter exhaust gases to the turbo and cooler air intake in the engine bay. (I'm told that a 5ºC reduction in intake temp equates to 1% power increase - but this is from a company who want to coat my tubes  s:!: :!: s:!:  )

I'm pondering having the manifold and turbo body done, but also wonder about the benefits of doing the whole shebang (except for the Cat!) to tackle the engine bay temp issue..... or just not bothering and going as-is.

So, if t'were you, would you coat? what would you coat? and why?

I would, and I did.

Power and safety were the reasons I was advised to go for it, and I did. If you can afford it (and it shouldn't really be that expensive compared with the cost of the kit), then I say go for it. Lower temps can only be a good thing.
