Hi,

I have a major issue with my MR2, was doing 70 (no really) down the motorway the other day and it just died   s:oops:  s:oops:  , had to get a tow and everything   s:cry:  s:cry:

I have been told it sounds like the little end (whatever that is)

Now i an in a dodgy posisition, i really want to get this fixed asap but am not prepared to pay 60 quid an hour for Toyota to fix it, my brother in-law owns his own guarage but has never worked on an MR2 before.

Basically, has anyone any tips on removing the engine so it can be bench tested  worked on without being 2ft tall?  There isnt much room to work in the engine bay.

I know there is a BRB around and I would buy one if I could find a site, if someone points me in the right direction to the BRB I will gladly give it them after I have finished with it.

TIA,
Stuart.
