So.. following my foray into 25 psi wastegate actuators masquerading as 12psi ones. I find myself in need of a decent 10psi actuator. It needs to have the dog leg for the arm and be as long as possible.
Does anyone have any recommendations?

Not just you.

Thankfully, as reported in the associated thread. Manky.  It seems to be limited to the top end.

Is it just me or does anyone else think there's a fair amount of sludge under that cam cover?

Cable wise, with them disconnected see if you can push-pull.  The rubbers disintegrate & let in water/dirt.  If they move at all they can be freed with a very thin oil down from the inside, but it's a very slow process.
Search 'Venhill' for a recent thread about the rubbers.

Shoddy effort not updating this a little!

Well I feel a little guilty as the Tart lived outside all Winter, but she seems to have held up well. She's also been a godsend after the family bus C Max decided to throw a DPF-related wobbler while on holiday in Norfolk, leaving us with just the VW Up as the main family car. SO the Tart has been my main wheels for the last month and very good at it she has been too.

My daughter finds it a little high-profile for college pick-ups, but she's getting used to it. It's also still a lot of fun seeing people punching their mates on the arm when we roll past. Punch yellow car is very much still a thing!

One job I finally got around to was to change the cam cover as it was weeping a bit.

A lot cleaner under there than the project Celica....

Job went swimmingly and now have no leaks!

Nothing much else to report at the moment. It just works with no fuss or bother. Long may it continue!

@Dagnet

Despite the lever arm length, hidden out of sight is a small silver bullet/pin.
The arm acts on that pin to compress the pads against the disc. The pads need to be touching the disc to begin with. Interference fit. So the 2mm of movement sounds about right.
