Title: Bleeding coolant system
Post by: 105e on September 25, 2023, 15:47
I knew my waterpump had a really slight leak but as i wanted to change the coolant and replace the belt i decided to change it..So all done and attempting to bleed the system, but after a couple of hours i just couldnt get any hot air from the heater. i had read the guide on here.  By now i was getting a bit fed up then i had an idea, then i had another idea and put the matches back down. ( the old ones are the best) i then went for a drive thinking the pot holes and speed bumps might dislodge the airlock and with the heater full on i soon had hot air....

@105e

Although I have generally been fortunate in my endeavours, your post title is perhaps apt!
