Title: Electric Windows switch on 2003 model
Post by: Anonymous on July 17, 2003, 11:26
I have a 2000 model '2 and get a bit frustrated about the drivers side window switch.  It has an 'auto' DOWN but not UP, what was the reasoning behind this?

Equally as anoying is the passengers side doesn't do 'auto' up or down.

Can someone with a 2003 model tell me if this is still the case on theirs or whether Toyota have changed this?  If so, then it should be fairly straight forward to upgrade both my switches and get a new button with 'auto' on it for the passenger side - right?

Mike.

How adventurous are you?  Look here (http://www.spydermagazine.com/2001/Sept/windows/windows.htm) and here (http://www.spydermagazine.com/2001/Nov/autoloc/autoloc.htm) if the answer's "very"!...
