Title: Facelift rear light lenses to fit pre-facelift housing?
Post by: adamino on March 17, 2014, 23:01
Hi, Does anyone have experience with this?
Do these facelift lenses fit the pre-facelift housing? Or do I also need to replace the housing?
Reason for asking is that these lenses only cost like € 30,- a piece.

Thanks
Alessandro

The facelift rear lenses DO NOT fit the pre-facelift housings.
Or so I've been told.

The internal parts of the lights are different behind the lens, eg. The chrome part is a different piece.
I guess there's a degree of possibility but it may require a substantial amount of modification. Fitting a full unit is much easier and straight forward, especially if you get the loom for the bulbs.
