Title: Engine noise help
Post by: wuqoc on October 7, 2022, 09:44
So my gen 4 is making a squealing noise intermittently, Originally I thought it was the A/C Compressor so I removed the belt. After starting the car and letting it idle for a minute, I stared hearing the noise again. Has anyone else experienced this? if so what was the solution?

I'd take the alternator belt off too as the bearings in the alternator are well known to seize, if noise goes replace alternator..
