:) any advice with hint or tips or recommendations on portable car starters.
i have jump pack with Air compressor so want just a starter now.
thanks for any input.
I've got a nocco.
Expensive but will start anything.
Even a V6 that's going dead every 5 mins because the cables grounding out.
Tbh you probably don't need anything special to start a 1zz.

What about a battery quick disconnect and prevent the issue.
I have an arteck one that I have had for a few years. That brand dont seem to be available any more though. I used to have to use it fairly often on the GT86 and it worked. It is an 8000mA one (for engines up to 2.0l) and I did try it on the V6 (3.0) and it didnt work.
Get one with a minimum of 8000mA and you should be ok for your cars. Looks like you can spend very differing amounts so look for the best reviews and hope for the best!
(I think if you disconnect the battery and therefore alarm, you may not be insured for theft?).
There are a few decent remotely operated isolators these days. They are simple to install. They cost around £40 for a good one on your favourite auction site. I have one that I put together myself from components around a remote winch control (because it has two channels) and a 100 amp latching relay.
It acts as an extra layer of security, if a thief gets around it, then the car's immobiliser and alarm go live!
