MOT Rolling brake tester ok on LSD?

Not sure where to put this so if it's in the wrong section I ask that it's moved to the right place.

Many moons ago I was a mechanic and my boss always told me that you should never put a car with a LSD in the rolling brake tester.  I can see his point why this would be a bad thing to do however I'm interested to know if anyone here has ever had their 2 put in one whilst it's being MOT'd.  Looking into it, it looks like only vehicles with a permanently locked diff are effected.  Any testers out their want to elaborate?

I suggest you talk to Toyota, they made the cars and they certainly carry out a normal MOT on them.

Good point.  I do think looking into it it's only cars with fully locked LSD's.  Oh well.  Just one more thing the old g!t made a big deal about for nothing.
