ODB reader question

Any reason why when an ODB reader is connected it would cause the ABS light to flash when the car is stationary and occasional while moving?

Great bit of kit when connected to an Android device

The OBD II reader is trying to read can-bus information which your car doesn't have. Some people remove pin 15 (i think) to stop it.
