Hoping to buy a plug socket tomorrow from halfreuds, is the hex part of the plug 16mm, I am a little confused as some say 10mm, but is 16mm? they do a magnetic long reach plug spanner which I hope will be suitable.

From an earlier post:

Halfords is probably as good as any, I've used it for years.
It has a 'T' bar and a flexible joint at the socket.
A proper plug spanner will be marked as 10mm, the diameter of the plug hole (it could also be marked 5/8"AF or16mm, the diameter of the socket).
Ex.MR2 SMT sadly missed.
