Looking for a bit of general advice on using instant gasket.

I took my lights apart & put them back together using a bead of instant gasket all round before reassembling. Question is in cases like this, how long should you leave the gasket tu cure before reassembling? The tube says it's touch dry in 15 mins but I reckon it needs a bit longer to firm up before putting the lights back together.

Any advice appreciated.

Cant say for definite but sealant that I use in my line of work, forms a skin within hours but can take 24 hrs plus to fully cure.
I suppose heat is a factor too, ie it will take longer in the cold than the warmth of your house.
