main exhaust cat change

Does the bumper need to comevoff to change the main cat? I have a rattle from the cat heat shield and the jubilee clip fix is not doing the business.  Any other thoughts or suggestions?

If you can get the car up on stands (or similar) and the rear nappy off, you should be able to get access to all the bits you need to remove the cat without taking the bumper off  s:) s:)
