ET values rims

I want to buy new rims because the ones I have now are really bad looking and not straight.

I want 17" again and looking for an wide of 7 to 8J, but what ET values can I use?

I don't mind that they will be sticking a but out of the arch on the back.

Can I use these ones?:
17 inch / 7J / Steek: 4 x 100/114.3 / ET 40 (front)
17 inch / 8J / Steek: 4 x 100/114.3 / ET 35 (back)
