Adjusting your alarm sensitivity

Well for the first time since buying my 2 I've gotten my hands dirty!...well, it wasn't a very messy job to be honest haha

Took the 3 bolts out at the bottom of the door and pulled the carpet away from behind the seat


Identified the the alarm sensitivity unit


Finally removed the little round rubber grommet and turned the screw clockwise to make it more sensitive! (the screw being bottom right of the box where all the little while dashes are) I couldn't get a screwdriver in the gap, so used a small cross head drill bit that was slim and long so it fit down the hole in the box (I was surprised how far back the screw was set! Was a real arse to reach)


But I am happy to say that now waving inside the car on both sides and the slight touch of the seat sets the alarm off....and obviously I checked that with the the hood up I could tap all over the hood and car as if it was raining. Hopefully job done and alarm sorted!  s:D s:D
