Hello guys im in the process of modifing my hood into a gt300 style and wanted to share the quest with you!

Treboeth

You had me confused for a minute, I thought "how can you customise a hood".

Then I saw your bonnet ;)

Looks very nice :)

Or did you?

Definition of bonnet = "the hinged metal canopy covering the engine of a motor vehicle"
Silver 2004 MR2 -  Unmodified but very shiny.

FuZZy_gr

Well i think its called front hood if my english are right!

Joesson

The hood (North American English) or bonnet (Commonwealth English excluding Canada) is the hinged cover over the engine of motor vehicles that allows access to the engine compartment (or trunk on rear-engine and some mid-engine vehicles) for maintenance and repair. In British terminology, hood refers to a fabric cover over the passenger compartment of the car (known as the 'top' in the US). In many motor vehicles built in the 1930s and 1940s, the resemblance to an actual hood or bonnet is clear when open and viewed head-on; in modern vehicles it continues to serve the same purpose but no longer resembles a head covering.

Wikipedia.

Well, that clears that up doesn't it !

The Other Stu

According to a bloke on Facebook, it's no longer a frunk.
It's now called a froot.

It's been called a froot for ages.
Pretty sure we invented it.
First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

Pretty sure we did.

@UKTotty 05 September 2010 "It was early. Anyway that is the froot front boot"

NB auto correct or whatever, and myself are totally confused.
The member I am referring to is known as uktotty in UPPER or lower case or a mix of the two.

Joesson

@shnazzle

I used the " search" function for "froot".
On the first occassion There were 8 references, the earliest was attributed to uktotty on 05 September 2010.
I tried to copy and paste the reference without succeso.
Entered my response from my memory and when I went back there where only 3 ( current) references!
I also tried to find UKtotty on the Member search but now realise it should be high I will correct on my response.
I guess this is just some quirk of the system, or maybe, as is often in my case User Error.

Loving the smoked lights.
The vents are a bit aggressive for my taste.
But, nicely done all the same.
Works as a package.
Stealthy.
