Alloy refurb - Wet Paint or Powdercoat

As titled. I'm sure it's an age old discussion. I'm well aware that preparation is a major part

My question is more about durability, longevity, finish, etc. Hoping for opinions from someone who has done both

It really depends on what you want to acheive.
Powdercoating as a rule will give a more durable finish
Paint will give a much better finish, but at the cost of durability.

If you just want a refurb to "factory" then I'd suggest powdercoating
