Hey all, I've done a fair wee bit to my 2s interior but the black mottled plastic still annoys me a bit. If like to know if anyone has 'jazzed' it up a bit? The dash and centre console I think could be made to look a bit more stylish. This is how mine currently looks, although I've changed the seats to leather now

Call the midlife!

A few people have had their dashboard and consoles leather trimmed which looks lovely but is quite expensive.
Or have a look at J F Customs for some "off the shelf" stuff?

Have a look at Shnazzles readers ride, he had some lovely leatherwork done this year.
Here comes the wife (Mrs Shnazzle) has a smashing interior too!

There was a thread which investigated  possibility of vinyl wrap of dash i think...

I've looked into that, they can't do it over the mottled plastic - too many air bubbles get created apparently

You could always get a "spare" dash and sand the dimples smooth, or resin coat it first?

Yeah that could be an option, although I really do think a nice leather would be sweet!

Obviously not wanting to cause offence but you're gonna need a very big wallet for a decent leather retrim.
Have a look at Hide n Seat Auto Interiors.

No offence taken! I've probably just dropped 10k on a 2zz conversion with all the trimmings and a new bodykit lol

You did indeed with reference to Mr and Mrs Shnazzle.
