Say it with love, say it with flowers but never, never, say it in writing.

There's people on here who have shown a lot of experience in this, but the key thing that comes back is preparation.

The primer and clearcoat seems almost more important than the colour layer.

Sanding between layers, etc. It's very time-consuming.
I paid 200 for my spoiler; purchase, repair, paint and fit. There's no way I could have done it for that myself.
...neutiquam erro.

I've used a few different ones, but the most reliable and accurate has been NuAgane.  I know the name is naff, but the colour match has been spot on.

My son is into hydro dipping and he tells me he will make an ace job of spraying it so time will tell :)

What would you say is the best position for the TTE spoiler ? I know nothing about the rights and wrongs of spoilers but most I have seen always seem to be well to the rear of the car but that could perhaps interfere with the high level brake light ?

Call the midlife!

If it's the banana spoiler in the image then that's the only position it will fit.
I've seen good and bad dipping, it's usually the same thing as with paint, if you don't do the prep work you'll see any imperfections through the dip.
A couple of good wet coats of lacquer gives you a good surface to cut back and polish up.
60% of the time it works everytime...

Thanks, yes it is the banana as above, my son is pretty good at dipping to be honest and he said he could do it but I would prefer it to be sprayed the correct black, looks better imo.

Decided to follow the advice and buy some paint from them.  Havent tried the paint yet but the order came with free jelly tots!  nothing more to be said....

God I love a jelly tot.
First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.
