Stock exhaust 1999 vs 2003>

Is the stock exhaust final stage (back box) any different (other than an oval not round tail trim) on the facelift Roadsters does anyone know?  ie would a facelift main silencer fit the earlier exhaust headers & mid section?

Yes to the second question.  They all interchange. We have a 2003 main cat and muffler on a 2002.

I think they can be retro fitted.
