Paint Code - Black Pre-Face Lift

the VIN plate has been damaged on the engine bay. I can find info online but want to verify it on here.

What is the paint code for a pre-face lift black car - I'm not bothered about a perfectly exact match given what I use the car for - it's just so I can use a tinny to patch up some racing scrapes and it not be a wildly different colour of black.

Amazing how black is simply the absence of light, yet there can be many shades of it.

I use 202 on mine.

202 is the paint code and its one of Toyotas oldest. It is a very common black color and I was told its the same shade of back for most cars without any kind of metallic flake.
