Hi all,

I'm looking for some advice regarding storing the Hard Top. My car lives in a garage and I'd like to hang its Hard Top from the roof.

Interested in seeing if / how owners are doing this, particularly what they are using. I'm thinking of getting some straps with hooks for the back and a pulley to hoist it up out the way and securing it up above the car.

Thoughts and pics...?

Thanks
S

I put fixings in the wall & hang via the front latches.

Mine is in a storage bag, hung on the garage wall:

I restored our grand kids 20 odd year old Wendy house just to use for storage.

Say it with love, say it with flowers but never, never, say it in writing.

I mounted a piece of wood 2x4 to the ceiling.  Two hinges and some steel "storage hooks" covered with carpet scraps.  Then a piece of chain to hold it after I swing it up to the ceiling.
I'd post photos if I could figure out how!

Trying to post pics.  I searched out the "new members" page which has a link explaining how to upload.  But links are all dead.   Oh, I got it!   Thanks.

Thanks for all your replies - they gave me plenty to think about.

I ended up re-purposing a bike storage rack that I had  -

Mounted it to the side of the garage -

...and then protected it with an old duvet cover and strapped the top in case it tries to fall forward -
