Camping in the MR2

Plenty of folk already camp with the MR2. Our cars are either a bit tardis like in accommodating greater loads than the diminutive appearance suggests, or most owners are just very comfortable with wearing their undergarments inside out and thus require less space.

Feeling rather inspired by a "will it, won't it fall over" tent box mk2 build, I'm wondering if it's possible to engineer a roof box for these roadsters?

Porsche have done one for their boxster compatible with soft and hard top.

Would a roll cage company be able to make one of these?

I'd really like going camping with the MR2 but being able to carry more in comfort, or being able to sleep in a tentbox.

I used to go camping all over Europe with two up on a motorcycle. An MR2 seems luxury luggage capacity to me  ;)  That observed my camping days are over. Now simply book lodgings ahead or ask around. In two weeks off to Portugal with  #1 son in the MR2.  Over here it is about same price as camping but éver so much more flexible and comfortable.
