Fabulous job Carolyn, I'm very impressed. It wouldn't sway me either way, but I'm guessing they're black and its the lighting that makes them look dark green in some of the photos?

What solution did you go for regarding the frunk plastic lid? I'm keen for a front brace but ideally would like to keep the frunk lid in some useable state

Apologies that I missed that. The hinges look good enough for me! What about the larger outer plastic cover, does this need to be dumped? I saw in one of those pics of the TRD brace that it was left on but it's off in all of your brace photos. I like the clean look with it on ... is there anything to consider in permanently removing it?

Thanks and good work!

No it's not off in all the photos.  You're as bad as me!!  I tend to scan things.... There's a pic with it all in place.  And I  much prefer it that way.

Ok, you had me at "not off in all the photos" 🤣

I can be terrible for scanning so thanks for your understanding!

I'm in the market for one of these then! Is there one of the original 6 left for grabs? If not then please take this as interest in getting one from the next run. Happy with the price and donation too!

All of this batch are gone.  I'm starting a list.  When I've got six or more interested, we'll do another batch.

Hi Carolyn,

In that pic it looks like the frunk plastic has the cut outs for the brace to fit but the Lid seems intact with no extra hinges, leather or otherwise. Have I missed something?

that pic was taken before the hinges were added.  The frunk lid has been cut in that pic, though.

I have to say, having driven the car with the brace now for a week it makes a real difference over bumps and into corners. Much more controlled. I've always been sceptical when people say a cheap bolt on has transformed their car, but on this occasion I think I'll join them.

It's a nice piece of kit.
Noticed the difference instantly.
Always been a fan of strut braces and this is a good one.
First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

I already have one (and prompt delivery and service from Carolyn).

One of the original takers didn't confirm, much to my delight!
