1zz and 2zz spare engine builds

Having had a massive clear out of the garage.

I'm left with two complete engines, a 1zz and a 2zz.

Plan is to a light refresh on them both and  apply forced induction, I'll then look for a a couple of cars in the new year to swap them into.

The 1zz will get my old turbo kit, cast manifold, TD014 15t, charge cooler etc

Whilst the 2zz I want to go down the supercharger route. Looking at using an M62/90Eaton, undecided on whether it will be front or rear mounted on the engine.

Both will receive EMU blacks for management, and likely be built into OEM+ style, so no silly bumper exit exhausts.

I'll keep this thread for build updates on maybe move it over to readers rides.

So I'm pretty set on what I'll be doing with the 1zz, exact same route as I did my original turbo build whilst it has the TTE exhaust on.

The 2zz, I should be picking up a rotrex C30 94 next week.

It's then on to which headers, which I've seen the zero exhaust style one that I like, which they do a 4-1 header at 63mm.

I'll the package up a W2A cooler for it.

Awesome builds are in the works! I would pick your rotrex way of mounting, if it doesnt remove the aircon and will do mine.

Still have my car and my GRY is up for sale so in case it is sold until the summer ill build my two.
