I have two original keys, one of which locked the car, and the other unlocked it. I had it cut at a local independent locksmith, at a cost of £8.00, did the usual dance and door slamming a couple of times, and it works a treat. (Comes with instructions which work).
I can't remember which colour insert I have in my original key, but I get the impression that this key will work for either.

Can you still see the red LED through the pin hole?
Not sure which key you mean, but I could see the led on both originals also on the new one.
It is a complete replacement, not just a new case.
@FinThat should be helpful, certainly a step up from my putting the blade from my broken cased key into a flip case and swopping the electrical gubbins.
