Title: need a code, yes / no
Post by: 105e on March 28, 2022, 12:44
I believe roadsters came with radio / cd players from the factory. Mine came with an aftermarket unit which i have binned as i just do not need mobile phone connectivity, bluetooth (whatever that is) usb connection etc...So i though about refitting an original (simple) unit.  but do they need a code to work as i am getting conflicting advice when asking ebay adverts. Also would ones from similar year other models be compatible,  thank you..

I have the CD/Radio version and doesn't need a code.

EDIT: I've looked in the owners manual and no mention of codes. I have a quick reference guide for the cassette version with no mention of codes.

PFLs came with a Sony head unit that doesn't have a code.
