Aerial with mind of its own

 s:shock: :shock: s:shock:  My aerial seems to go up and down at will (symptom is the radio power goes - display goes blank) and obviously the Aerial thinks its been switched off and powers down. It seems to happen more on damp/wet days . Any ideas ? have checked the fuses and all seems fine.
