sat nav size

hi all,
could anyone tell me what sat nav fits best in a nav pod and are they easy to fit yourself,also whats do you wire the sat nav up to in order to hide the wire.

Not done it, but have used the pod to house gauges. Basically it is just a housing. How you fit anything has to be worked out and done by you. I used a piece of MDF cut/sanded to shape to fit exactly in the aperture, with my gauge holes drilled in it.

 Size is approx 18cm x 10 cms so any SN will fit. One thing you will have to take into account is how you take it in and out, supply power and switch on, plus any number of other things your particular sat nav might offer.

Basically best place to get power into pod / cubby box is through back LH corner where there is not so many components that could be damaged making the hole. Power, I guess would come from the back of the cigarette lighter - all my ancilliaries do.
