electric mirror switch?

I have a 2000 model mk3, on the right of the steering wheel i have a small cluster of switches, mirrors ect, should these be illuminated or not, would like it if they were.

Alas Toyota didn't design in lighting for those switches.
Cute & fluffy animals were definitely hurt during the production of this post, there're plenty more where they came from
