Aerial Stuck Up After Radio Fuse Blowing

I have a problem with my aerial being stuck up. Not so long ago i had a water leak and it blew the fuse for my stereo. At the time of the fuse blowing i was listening to a Cd which ment my aerial was down. I notieced that my aerial had gone up when i got home. After replacing the fuse the aerial won't go down if i switch to the radio i get a noise from the motor as if it is jammed.

After reading the topics  about aerials on this site i found out there is a aerial control box under the rear storage bins. This is where the water had leaked into which makes me think this was the cause of the fuse blowing. Now this is where i'm stuck, i don't know whether the aerial has jammed or the control box is knackered. Has anbody had a similar problem or could help me with this problem?
