Hi guys just wondering if the plug and play from a English mr2 would work on a my jap mr-s as when mate went to check a cel his reader wouldn't connect thanks for your help everyone

I'm guessing that as long as it has the "stock" program in it, and it comes from a stock car, then as long as the JDM is also stock it should be OK as a "plug and play".
The reason JDM codes can't be read by an OBDII reader is because JDM don't follow the OBDII protocol as output for readers, so shouldn't have any effect on ECU etc.
