Plug Nexus 7 into Sound system?

I've got the stock headset in the car at the moment, and it's pretty dire to be honest. Radio is poor and cds skip! (okay, my cds are few and scratched but shhhhhhsh  s;) s;)  )

So I was thinking of getting my new Nexus 7 (2013) into the equation. Get a unit mount to put it near the vents near the steering wheel, and find a way to connect it up to the speakers for my music, as well as using the GPS, Torque (via my OBD2 reader), and having it powered by the cigarette hole.

Is this possible to do?
