Removing the alarm

Race / track car builders - any pointers on how I remove the alarm without messing with the immobiliser etc? Is it just a case of removing the alarm components (the sounder in the frunk, and the modules in the bulkhead behind the handbrake) and trimming the loom back? background - I'm stripping my car back as far as possible whilst remaining MOTable - putting a full Rogue cage in etc.
