Mounting screws for double din

Hi guys. I've got a double din Sony headunit that I've got from a friend. It's a Bluetooth double din. I haven't got the mounting screws that screw the brackets to the side of the radio. Can I use the screws that were in the sides of my facelift stereo to mount the brackets to the new headunit?
