Aerial issue......slightly different from others

I think.........

My PFL MRS electric aerial seems to go up fine when turning on the radio, but doesn't go all of the way back down.



I have cleaned it and given it liberal wd40 coatings and wipes, but after one or two cycles, reverts back to this.

Anyone experienced this or have any suggestions as to what it might be before I start getting my screwdrivers out and completely ballsing the whole system up?   s:oops: :oops: s:oops:

Mine did the same.
All to do with the plastic tooth coil drive motor thingy buried under the rear arch.

I decided not bother with an aerial and had it fully retracted and disabled

Oh.....I thought the common toothed chord problems related to the aerial not going all of the way up?

Hmmm.............might just leave it as is then.
