Hi Guys,

I am after some advice regarding the heater element on the soft-top glass.

I've been a bit of a donkey you see, and fixed a piece of card on it using duct tape while I was at an autocross event. I ripped the tape off after the event to drive home, and brought with it some of the heater circuit.

I haven't taken all of the circuit off, just a few chunks here and there. There's bits of silver coloured lines on the duct tape I ripped off.

To be honest, there's far more important things I could have wrecked at such an event, but is anyone aware of how to fix this? In my mind, it's conductive paint, and a very steady hand. Alternatively, any way I can get it replaced relatively cheap?

Cheers  s:) :) s:)

There is repair paint you can buy for this - frosts I think have it.

Oof. That's a kick in the wallet. Guess it beats tin foil and electrical tape though. Thank you!

Ah yes. You're absolutely correct. Seems no one does replacement screens, and getting a new roof ain't cheap!

Turns out 50% of the heater element works! I have a triangle of vision which is nice. Thought I'd completely ruined it. Will still attempt the repair though.
