New Flip Key

Hi, I don't post often these days. RL gets in the way far too much 
Anyway, I just bought on of these, and it works a treat:

I have two original keys, one of which locked the car, and the other unlocked it. I had it cut at a local independent locksmith, at a cost of £8.00, did the usual dance and door slamming a couple of times, and it works a treat. (Comes with instructions which work).

I can't remember which colour insert I have in my original key, but I get the impression that this key will work for either.

Hope this is helpful to anyone else having similar problems

Can you still see the red LED through the pin hole?

Not sure which key you mean, but I  could see the led on both originals  also on the new one.
It is a complete replacement,  not just a new case.

That should be helpful, certainly a step up from my putting the blade from my broken cased key into a flip case and swopping the electrical gubbins.
