Is it just me, or is the 2's alarm rather quiet?   s:? :? s:?   Is there any way of making this louder? Any suggestions?

Have moved the alarm and it was sooooo easy. I drilled the existing bracket to prise away the u bracket that fitted to the alarm and used the earthing points on the nearside wheel arch to fix it to. Is is sooooo loud now. I feel much happier parking it up with the top down now. Its painful to stand next to it.  s:D :D s:D

Simple mod?

You should do a nice step by step guide, as its a frustrating thing.

Does moving your alarm not affect the thatcham catagory of the alarm?

think your right, but wouldn't you rather hear it. The part you are moving is only a sounder anyway, according to my local dealer and you are not damaging or cutting the wiring in any way, just moving it to a new location

Officially - Yes you do invalidate the Thatcham status if you relocate the sounder. Recertification is easy though, and shouldn't cost more than £20 for a local alarm specialist to inspect & re-issue the certification.
