Hi, I've seen the TTE Turbo install instructions...thanks to whoever found them.

Does anyone have any dealer documents such as price list or accessory lit or similar which shows that it was available from dealers?

@onenastyviper

Any particular reason behind the request/curiosity for the info?

Yes, I race my car and the regulations have different classes D, E & F for modified and A, B, C for specials.

If I can show that this turbo upgrade was available, it might make the difference between moving up one class in the same division or straight into the specials and end up in a championship fight with FIA-class race cars.

I have some TUV documentation somewhere as well if it helps.

Could you upload those tuv documents? Here is necessary to make it road legal...

Thank you very much for providing me with the TÜV certificate!

Initially, I had planned to install a 2ZZ engine in my MR2 for track use. However, seeing that it is becoming increasingly difficult to find one in good condition and considering that they tend to be less reliable under intensive use, I have decided to explore other options. I have two spare 1ZZ engines, one of them with pistons from the restyled version. I have read that it is possible to achieve between 200 and 230 hp with a stock 1ZZ equipped with a turbo, so I am interested in investigating this possibility.

Since I need to drive the car to the circuit and do not have a trailer, it is essential that the vehicle is homologated to legally circulate on public roads. With the TÜV certificate you have provided me, I will try to homologate the kit to be able to enjoy the car both on the road and on the track without any issues.

Thanks again for your help!

You are welcome.
We are here to help. Plesae keep us up to date with your progress.

The TTE kit was for about 184bhp and 50% more torque than stock. If you are going for a home brew turbo kit there are plenty of others on here better able to advise. I'm happy with the plug n play option the TTE gives.

if racing is your thing, as well as more bhp, lightness is your friend.

If you search petrus and hybrid, there is an easy win win to be had. Swap out your front calipers for those of a 2nd generation prius.
Straight swap, many kg's saved and a bit more bite.

I will try to make a build post!
About the tte vs other options, i will try to make a custom one, pass like a TTE kit, just for homologation, then my goal is 200-220hp with stock internals.

About the calipers i have no idea about it, surelly i will look onto it!
Many thanks!
