Hello all,

Had a little bit of humming/slight knocking I could feel through the steering column emerge recently. Had a mechanic check over the car, turns out my front passenger side wheel bearing is shot. I see from Japan Parts that these are basically a complete unit, so I'm guessing these are a lot more expensive than the rears.

Can anyone recommend somewhere to source a replacement? None of the motor factors nearby have any stock.
I've heard TCP are supposed to be good? The car is still driveable but of course I wanna get this swapped out soon as its my daily car hehe.

Am I better off replacing both front assemblies, since it's a 25 year old car now?

...nope ...whole unit.
I may have a set, low mileage from Japan.
Will have to check.

Nice one - mine has ABS and so will require that type, just in case. I'm looking to move fairly quickly on this, I don't want to be stranded in this hot sun.

My mechanic refuses to fit after-market wheel bearings after fitting 2 in succession on the same Audi & both had play in them from new. That said,I've not seen any negative feedback on the aftermarket ones for the MR2 (at least not on here).

I got a genuine part from GT4-Play last year. If you can find a Koyo branded one I'm given to understand they make them for Toyota themselves.
