Title: Brake fluid volume
Post by: Anonymous on January 12, 2004, 15:44
Realising it's about time I changed my brake fluid again, does anyone know how much fluid I'll need? Last time I got MrT to do it, they used about 1.5 500ml bottles of Motul 600, but I don't know if/how much they flushed through.

I've got one unopened 500ml bottle remaining, and wondering if this'll be enough to replace and bleed right through all four lines.

Can't remember exactly, but one is enough.

Might be a good idea to get a 2nd one though, just in case. If you have only one bottle, something's bound to go wrong and you run out of it  s;) ;) s;)  You can always sell the 2nd bottle or keep it till next time..
