They are great with modified cars but not so much standard cars.

I'm 33 and pay just £270 for my green one all mods declared

They have always been good for me. Scot is paying similar for his sp turbo as well.

I got a quote of Adrian flux on Saturday they wanted £540 fully comp for the year, with the club discount. Went on confused.com, got it for £290 with exactly the same level of cover!!

Mine is 460 this year but that includes breakdown.
Remember i not only have turbo but the dreaded coilovers which insurance companies dont seem to like.
I was paying around this ammount when i had my mondeo over 2 years ago so i still think it is a cheap car to insure.
I know when Tom added a few mods to one of his the insurance came DOWN   s:scared: :scared: s:scared:

Perhaps they though the safety chain on the water filler cap and the double strength number plate bolts were extra safety features  s:lol: :lol: s:lol:

As you are over 50 you should have gone to Saga, just paid £ 96.49 ,no mileage limitation, full ncb ,clean licence etc, and nearer 70 than 60!
