Title: Enkei 20:1 and info
Post by: Petrus on February 25, 2019, 16:28
In the sales info published by Enkei they claim that 1 kilogram of weight saved on the wheel is worth 20 off the car.
Since I can not nearly equate that, I asked them how they arrived at this ratio.

I received answer prompty.
That is is a complicated matter influenced by many variable factors prventing an excact answer but they gave me a link to technical explantions:

Interesting as the article is, I find it very basic and nowhere quantifying the mentioned ratio.
Nevertheless I think it worth reading as it sure points out that the MR2 is totally on the right track and also stated the today no longer so obvious weight thing. Enjoy.
