Title: Brake calipers
Post by: Call the midlife! on March 1, 2021, 09:52
Just for information for anyone thinking about renewing their brake calipers, Simon Sinclair has a limited time offer on at the moment giving 20% off PAIRS of calipers.
Look on caliperrefurb.com and use the code PINK13-20 which brings a pair of rears down to £150 delivered.
For those that don't know, Simon is a long standing member of the club.

I'm looking for new rear calipers, seems like a good price but the website isn't working at the moment..

I think he's had some issues with quality of supply and other personal stuff going on so he might've closed it down, he's also due to be moving to Spain later in the year so that's possibly another factor.

Yes, pretty sure Simon has closed down his caliper supply.

I have used brakeparts a couple of times and been happy with them, plus they dont have a surcharge on the rears;

Happy with my rears.

My rear is a bit sticky   :o  so as per another thread talking about calipers I've ordered two Ridex rear calipers plus 1L of rbf600 for £150 from Autodoc. I'll be updating my reader's ride thread as to how good (out bad) they are in time.

 :) just for info  :)
Simon has closed this down.
he is now ready for a new life in sunny Spain 8)  8)
he is having a farewell gathering at Shinding that has runs for the last few years.

now i had 2 rear callipers supplied and fitted in March for mot  by Nathan at MR Twos now its to clicks on the handbrake job done.

so the handbrake problems we get can get sorted with a real good feel to it :)

looing on the bay there some some which come with a 5 year warranty. so it may pay to look around.

1 reason had i went wanted Nathan to do the work was its 1 stop and he supplied /fitted so any problems i only have to deal with 1 person :)

The eBay calipers with a 5 year warranty are the ones I was warning against. Check their google reviews...
