I see there is someone on ebay asking £1399 for a black hardtop, fitting kit, stand and cover and I thought I was a dreamer.

I've got it my watch list and received a offer of 11% discount, so it's down to £1250 now :o

The price of these hardtops has gone crazy recently
I bought my car with hardtop for £1,100.00 just about 2 years ago!
Soon instead of getting a hardtop with the car, youll get a car with the hard top...

That's a better return than the Banks are offering at the moment!
I Will be selling my hardtop soon for 3500....
it comes with an MR2 with a 2zz, short ratio 6 speed box, coilovers, side mounted oil cooler, etc, etc 😁
I'm starting to regret setting my hard top just over 2 years ago.
@1979scotte said I'd never get my £575 asking price. I think he said "that would be the highest he'd seen prices"
Just look at them now!

I think some of it is to do with lockdown.
Those that have consistently earned through this crisis find themselves sitting on a few quid so get a hardtop as a treat.
I bought a dog much more fun.

Crazy really, you will probaly get more interest with the add staring "MR2 hartop for sale"
The main reason I purchased mine is, the car is outside over the winter, by some trees, I have a new soft top on so didnt want that going crappy, I am also looking to add another car that will go in the garage

That is basic Scott ;-)
Ironic isn't it ?? I'd be in the market for another 2 regardless of condition if it had a hardtop. Need someone selling who isn't here or on eBay etc then may get a bargain.
