Title: Head Unit Reverse Trigger Wire
Post by: Daxed on September 17, 2021, 22:18
Where are rear camera users tapping into a reverse gear feed for the head unit?
Thanks.

It was years ago when I did mine but I think it was from one of the reversing light wiring by a light.

It's a very small car is it worth the effort?

For me it certainly wasn't and I've never a car or curb but Helen's a lot shorter and she always said she struggles to see out the tiny back window when reversing.

I like mine! Helps me get out of tight spaces when someone parks close.

I already had the camera, bought it ages ago along with a head unit/amp/components & sub, just never got around to fitting.
Had some time on my hands over the weekend so got started.
I think it's worth it (for me at least), just that little bit of roof up help.
As I was running a battery feed anyway, I just picked up the H/U reverse trigger from the light cluster.
